Armstrong Creek Town Centre

The Armstrong Creek Town Centre will be the civic, commercial and social heart of this Urban Growth Area, designed to be a sustainable, vibrant transit oriented environment which will encourage locals to shop, live, work and play. The pedestrianised Town Centre will be a go to destination place for Armstrong Creek and surrounding suburbs for visitors and residents alike.

The Town Centre will evolve Geelong and Armstrong Creek in a very positive way by design in accordance with the Armstrong Creek Urban Growth Plan 2008 and the amended ACUGP 2012 to include a 2,350 hectare area accommodating 22,000 dwellings and a population of 54,000 to 65,000 living in walkable neighbourhoods having access to public transport, open spaces, recreational facilities and plenty of mixed use activity centres.

THe ACUGA consists of 7 precincts which all include their own identities, features and benefits to the region :

  • Armstrong Creek East Precinct
  • Armstrong Creek West Precinct
  • Marshall Precinct
  • Horsheshoe Bend Precinct
  • North East Industrial Precinct
  • Western Industrial Precinct
