Royal Children’s Hospital – $31.4m investment to ensure this renowned world-class hospital continues to provide services and care to our sickest children, providing 30 new beds and expanding the emergency department
New Children’s Emergency Departments – $5.9m dedicated to 5 new children’s emergency departments in Geelong, Casey, Maroondah, Frankston and Northern Hospital’s
Frankston Hospital – $6m to initiate the planning the 11 story redevelopment to deliver 120 new beds, new operating theatres, expand the maternal and child health services
Regional Health – $100m budget to boost the Regional Health Infrastructure Fund to ensure regional Victorians receive best care
Footscray Hospital – $1.4bn to construct a 504 bed hospital to care for an extra 15,000 patients in state of the art facilities
Wantirna Health – $81.6m for a new 120 bed aged care facility with 60 high-need beds to complement existing palliative care services
Bendigo Hospital – $59.5m to build a new Rehab Centre for OT, Physio, Prosthetics and Orthotics all under one roof
Melton Hospital – $2.3m for the first stage of the new Melton Hospital to service a fast growing community
This is a total investment in building a hospital system for all Victorians with a committed budget of $5.5bn over the next 4 years
